You can design a bluebird house in a variety of ways. Some designs are very simple, so much so that almost anyone can create them. These simple designs are usually in the form of a kit, which provides the builder with the materials and instructions necessary for building a bluebird house. Other kits might have instructions that call the builder to get materials elsewhere and cut them into the proper sizes.
